Inside Ly-La
Ly-La is the club below Alaya, Chef Izu’s Mediterranean restaurant in DIFC. You reach it through a concealed door inside the restaurant. The room is styled as a Bedouin lounge, with heavy Middle Eastern textures and low light. It is small, so on busy nights arriving early is the surest way in. The DJs play afro, melodic and organic house, often with Middle Eastern instruments over the beats. When Ly-La opened in October 2022, doors were at 11pm and the night ran late.
